One woman from Calgary, Alberta talks about how she spent the last thirty years of her life raising her two sons. She admits to living in fear that her friends and family will find out about her past and use that information to hurt her children.

A friend asked her to stay with him and that is how she got off the street. She met and fell in love with a man and says that changed her life. She says that women in her circumstances often don’t seek help because they are terrified of being arrested for drugs or prostitution.
