A senior officer with the Lethbridge Regional Police said the seizure could herald a troubling new trend. “In my 30 years of policing the market for heroin in Lethbridge has been almost non-existent but to seize such a substantial quantity destined for our streets suggests that trend may be changing,” Insp. Colin Catonio said in a statement.
