Northern Addictions Centre – Detoxification Services

The Northern Addictions Centre is a 20 bed facility. It is a detoxification centers service to help people who suffer from alcohol or other drug addiction. It gives the patients a 24-hour care provided by the nursing staff and professional physicians. The drug rehabilitation program usually lasts between four to seven days. At first, when the people come in the centre, the get a personal assessment in order to establish what will be needed and so plan the treatment. And when a person is done with the detoxification, he will be introduced to self-help groups in order for him to get psychological help after he’s done with the physical aspect (detox).
