Adverse Side effects of Methamphetamine
Methamphetamine use will have many side effects during using and during the detox period a person is coming off of meth. This can include but is not limited to the following:
- anorexia
- restlessness, dry mouth
- blurred vision
- dizziness
- insomnia
- numbness
- convulsions
- stroke
- heart attack

One of the difficult things about a methamphetamine detox is the physical dependency a user can develop to the drug. The extent of a person’s tolerance to crystal meth is different from person to person. This can all depend on the frequency and duration of use throughout the addict’s drug history. Withdrawal is especially tough when an addict is injecting crystal meth, while not being life threatening, it is a very intense withdrawal, and should be monitored closely.
