One of the things that might help New Brunswick overcome their drug problem is setting up more outpatient drug rehabilitation programs. Having more programs will allow more addicts to get the treatment and counseling that they need. The other thing that the government should consider when they are evaluating the effectiveness of the outpatient programs is to extend the length of the program. Having a longer program will allow the addict to get additional counseling and will increase the likelihood of them overcoming their addiction.
