Short-Term Drug Rehab in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Treatment in general can be hard to come by in Nova Scotia, but Halifax does offer some short-term treatment options private or government funded. The waiting list for the government can be extensive.

Typical short-term treatment will last about 30 days or less, and in most cases is not the ideal solution for the heavy drug user in Halifax.

Drug and alcohol addiction can unfortunately hit hard amongst students. Various drug and alcohol treatment options and drug education is very important, as drug education is one of the best preventative measures available. Unfortunately, many young students in university and college battle problems with drug and alcohol abuse. This of course leads to a continuous outreach within the province for workable drug treatment options.
