Adult & Teen Challenge BC Chilliwack Men’s Centre is a long-term, residential recovery program in Chilliwack, British Columbia for men aged 19 and over whose alcohol or drug use, along with often related life-controlling behaviours, have already begun affecting stability at home, work, relationships, or emotional wellbeing. It offers a structured, live-in discipleship environment where recovery is lived through daily community involvement, mentoring, and spiritual grounding.
A Live-In Setting When Stability Has Slipped
Men typically enter this program when repeated efforts to manage substance use on their own haven’t held and the consequences are visible in everyday responsibilities. Participants live on site with peers and staff in an environment that provides safety, predictability, and space to re-orient life patterns.
Recovery Through Structure, Community and Purpose
Daily life at Chilliwack Men’s Centre blends individual mentoring, group support, pastoral counselling, and structured routines that help men slow down reactive patterns and build steadier habits. The program incorporates spiritual formation and biblical teachings alongside life-skills training, employability support, and reflection, aiming to support both inner change and practical readiness for life beyond the centre.
Designed for Sustained Transformation
This is a long-term commitment of around 12 months that gives participants time to confront entrenched patterns and build new ones that hold up after leaving the residential setting. Graduates may transition into continued support phases that reinforce community, accountability, and re-entry into stable work or housing.
For Men Ready to Live Recovery Every Day
Chilliwack Men’s Centre is often used by men who recognize that substance use has already interfered with employment, family life, and daily stability, and who need a sustained residential space where recovery is practiced every day. Its focus on community, structure, and personal growth supports change that carries into the world beyond the program.
