Calgary John Howard Society – Berkana House

Berkana House offers transitional housing to homeless males that need a safe place to develop a sober lifestyle. They provide sober housing in Calgary in various locations, each of which is designed to guide the homeless and criminal justice clients under their care. This program can help the clients develop sober habits and lifestyle, it also helps them with life skill issues, educational issues, and co-occurring mental health issues. The clients living in these facilities are given 24 support and care so they may have a healthy environment of recovery. Wrap-around services are also given to clients after the completion of the sober living program.
