Dilico Ojibway Child and Family Services
The recovery is a five-week residential based on the 12 steps of AA using the medicine wheel. We have staff that are fluent in Ojibway and are able to run our weekly sweats. Twice a week, the ex-clients in aftercare (12 week program) come to the center for their programming. The capacity is 20 people and there are 10 places for males and 10 places for females. Family visits show on site in an area designated for that purpose. It is a mandated child welfare agency that provides childrens' mental health services and a health unit with RN's and one nurse practitioner. The childrens' mental health service includes a 7-bed residential facility for children aged 5-17 years. The length of stay is 3 months.
