Naomi & Ruth Women’s Wellness Centre

Updated on: 4 February 2026

About this center

Naomi & Ruth Women’s Wellness Centre is a long-term, faith-based residential recovery program for adult women (18 +) whose alcohol, drug, or life-controlling patterns have reached a point where structured, extended support is needed to heal, grow, and rebuild life stability. Offering a year-long residential pathway that blends therapeutic care, skill building, and community support within everyday living, this centre provides an environment where recovery work unfolds across personal, social, and practical domains rather than isolated clinical episodes.

A Safe, Compassionate Residential Setting Rooted in Healing

The centre operates a residential home with approximately 17 beds, providing women with a nurturing living environment where structured recovery is supported through community, routine, peer connection, mentorship, and compassionate care. This residential model encourages participants to work through the impacts of addiction and life instability over a full 12-month engagement rather than short-term treatment.

Comprehensive Recovery Work With Holistic Support

Daily life at Naomi & Ruth involves individualized therapeutic support, including trauma-informed counselling, life-skills training (such as financial literacy and parenting), mentorship, and wellness activities, all designed to help participants build coping strategies, reconstruct routines, and strengthen relationships. The program blends evidence-informed practices with faith-anchored encouragement, helping women rediscover purpose and reconnect with community while addressing underlying drivers of substance use.

Integration of Spiritual, Emotional and Practical Growth

Though rooted in a faith-based framework, participation does not require adherence to a particular religion; the centre encourages openness to spiritual support alongside personal development and practical skill building. Women also receive medical oversight and mentorship throughout the program, reinforcing a whole-person approach to recovery that links inner growth with real-world responsibilities.

A Year-Long Path to Sustained Change

The 12-month format allows space for deeper work than brief programs, helping participants build new habits, strengthen resilience, and prepare for reintegration into family, community, and employment contexts. Residents progress through phases that gradually shift focus from stabilization to responsibility and reintegration while supported by staff and peers.

Naomi & Ruth Women’s Wellness Centre serves as a longer-term residential option for adult women seeking extended recovery support, with community, structure, and personal development anchored in both compassionate care and faith-oriented encouragement.
