Nelson House Medicine Lodge offers a holistic recovery program for individuals of the First Nation community; this program aims to help clients develop healthier habits of life. It is also used to provide addiction rehabilitation treatment to the clients; the duration of this program is eight weeks. They offer various in-house therapy sessions that deal with issues such as communication skills, colonization, addiction, trauma, emotional abuse, familial issues, and much more. They also offer therapy through cultural ceremonies to help client distress and spiritually heal. Other services such as gender-specific individual sessions, self-care, educational sessions, family sessions, and many other of the like may also be available.
