Ruth & Naomi’s Mission is a faith-based residential recovery program in Chilliwack, BC that supports adults (men and women separately) whose alcohol, drug, or related life-controlling behaviours have already begun affecting their daily life: stability, relationships, work, and housing. Rooted in Christian values, the centre offers structured, long-term residential recovery where people live on site and engage in a phased journey of growth and change rather than sporadic outpatient contact.
A Live-In Setting When Everyday Life Has Slipped
Adults typically enter RAN Mission’s program after repeated efforts to manage substance use on their own haven’t held and consequences are visible in the life they’re still living. The residential environment at locations like the Step-Up Residential Recovery Centre gives people stability and respite from triggers so they can begin recovery work with consistent support and daily routines.
Structured Phases That Build Steady Momentum
Recovery at RAN Mission unfolds through multiple progressive phases over time, often beginning with a period of intensive on-site engagement and gradually moving toward more community participation and responsibility. Program elements include daily group sessions, individual support, life-skills development, relapse-prevention planning, and peer accountability, all designed to help participants replace old patterns with more stable ways of living.
Turn-Key Support Within a Community of Care
The centre blends spiritual grounding with practical tools and peer support. Staff walk alongside residents through challenges and breakthroughs, creating an atmosphere where accountability, reflection, and personal growth are part of everyday life rather than isolated moments. Length of stay can extend up to 12 months or more with optional reintegration phases that help people transition back into community life responsibly.
When RAN Mission Fits Into Life
RAN Mission is often used by adults who recognize that substance use has already undermined their stability: workplace performance, family roles, and housing reliability, and who need a sustained residential environment where recovery is lived daily with structure, community support, and personal insight.
