Serenity Now Wellness

Updated on: 16 January 2026

About this center

Serenity Now Wellness is a community-centered, outpatient mental health and wellness practice in the Inglewood area of Calgary, Alberta where adults whose patterns of substance use, stress, or emotional discomfort have already begun shaping their daily lives seek support that fits alongside work, family, and real-world obligations. It combines counselling with physical-body work to address how addictive and coping behaviours show up in both mind and body, helping people make sense of what hasn’t been working and explore different ways forward.

Meeting Feelings and Patterns Where They Show Up

People typically come here when repeated use or unhealthy coping responses have started impacting relationships, productivity, routines, or wellbeing, and they want help that goes beyond isolated appointments. Serenity Now Wellness uses a mind-body approach that brings together registered psychologists, counsellors, and bodywork practitioners to examine behaviour patterns, emotional triggers, stress responses, and somatic tension, as interconnected parts of a person’s life that can be untangled and understood.

Counselling for Addiction and Substance Use

The centre offers addiction and substance use counselling where clients work one-on-one with trained professionals to explore how drinking or drug use has begun affecting emotions, daily functioning, and relationships. Sessions can include thorough mind-body assessments, individualized planning, and structured programs aimed at increasing self-awareness and coping skills so people begin responding differently to pressures, triggers, and cravings.

Massage and Bodywork as Supportive Recovery Tools

Alongside counselling, Serenity Now Wellness integrates massage therapy for addiction-related support, using techniques that help people reconnect with their bodies, release physical tension tied to stress and withdrawal, and access nervous system regulation that’s often disrupted by chronic stress or substance use patterns. Massage at this centre is one part of a broader set of supports people use to feel calmer, grounded, and more embodied as they work through behavioural change.

Outpatient Support That Fits Into Everyday Life

All services here are delivered on an outpatient basis, meaning clients continue living, working, and maintaining life roles while engaging in counselling, bodywork, or combined therapies. Appointments are typically scheduled in ways that allow people to balance recovery work with job, family, and community duties, helping them practice new skills and insights without pausing life.

For People Ready to Translate Insight Into Ordinary Days

This setting tends to be used by adults who recognize that how they’ve been coping isn’t sustainable and who want consistent support that integrates emotional insight with physical awareness. Whether someone’s substance use has begun affecting daily functioning or they’re responding to stress, trauma, or patterns that have become overwhelming, Serenity Now Wellness offers a blend of counselling and body-focused work that helps people build new responses they can carry into their everyday world.
