Teen Challenge – Winnipeg Men’s Centre is a long-term, faith-based residential addiction recovery program for adult men that operates under Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada, a nonprofit organization committed to helping people break free from substance use and life-controlling behaviours. The Winnipeg centre provides a structured live-in setting where recovery work, spiritual grounding, community support, and practical life skills are woven into daily life over an extended engagement, typically around 12–18 months.
A Structured Residential Pathway Anchored in Faith and Transformation
Located in downtown Winnipeg, this men’s program offers long-term residential care with around 40 beds available on site. Residents live with peers and staff and engage in a structured schedule that includes spiritual teaching, group and individual mentoring, life-skills development, relapse prevention, and work-oriented activities designed to build accountability, resilience, and practical coping strategies for life after treatment.
Integrating Biblical Principles With Personal Growth and Support
Teen Challenge’s model combines recovery-oriented therapeutic elements with spiritual guidance rooted in Christian discipleship, emphasizing personal responsibility, connection, and purpose alongside behavioural change. Daily routine and community involvement are central to helping participants build healthier habits that sustain long-term wellbeing beyond the residential phase.
Community Connection, Outreach, and Continued Engagement
In addition to residential care, Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada maintains community offices and support programs, including counselling, pastoral care, outpatient small-group work, and family-focused groups, that help extend support into everyday life and provide points of ongoing encouragement and recovery resources for graduates and their families.
