Total Freedom Manitoba is a faith-based residential addictions recovery program for adult men (18+) located in Sidney, Manitoba and operated under the auspices of Glory 2 Glory Canada. It offers a structured live-in environment where daily life, spiritual growth, personal responsibility and recovery work are integrated into a long-term pathway designed to help participants break free from life-controlling substance use and destructive patterns through disciplined routine and community support.
A Christian-Anchored Residential Journey With Phased Engagement
The core of Total Freedom’s program is a nine-month inpatient discipleship track, with shorter terms (minimum ~120 days) available under specific conditions, that blends recovery education, spiritual formation, structured work and community living. Participants spend the early months in classroom-style learning and ministry formation, then engage in work responsibilities around the property, such as kitchen, housekeeping, garden and other practical tasks, before entering a longer aftercare accountability phase.
Integration of Faith, Healing Work and Daily Responsibility
Programming here is rooted in a Christian perspective, emphasizing prayer, Biblical teaching, spiritual practice and personal reflection as part of recovery. Daily routines typically include group worship, spiritual study, classes focused on personal development and character growth, and work duties that help embed accountability and productive habits into everyday life.
Extended Aftercare and Accountability Beyond Residence
After the residential phase, participants enter a 12-month aftercare period where continued accountability is emphasised through connection to the ministry or nearby church communities. This extended support aims to help men solidify new patterns and maintain gains made during the residential phase as they reintegrate into community life.
A Residential Option With Spiritual and Practical Focus
Total Freedom Manitoba’s model appeals to adults seeking a long-term, faith-guided residential program that embeds recovery work, spiritual engagement and real-world responsibilities into structured living, helping participants develop sustainable routines and coping skills for life beyond the program.
