Vancouver Belkin House provides comprehensive substance abuse and shelter services to the homeless of the community. They aim to break the cycle of addiction by giving the homeless another opportunity at a better life. This facility provides a structured living to the clients so they can become more responsible; it also provides various recreational and counselling services. The counselling services at this facility use abstinence-based approach to guide the client towards healthier ways of coping with stress. They also provide education and life skill sessions that can help the client heal their spiritual and social identity.
