We Do Recover

About this center

We Do Recover is a Canadian outpatient addiction support and recovery coordination service that helps adults and families whose alcohol or drug use has begun affecting the life they’re still living such as work, relationships, routines, or emotional wellbeing. This service focuses on counselling, recovery coaching, interventions, and treatment placement support designed to help people stay grounded in the life they still have to manage.

Connection and Support When Self-Change Isn’t Holding

People often reach out here after attempts to reduce or stop substance use on their own haven’t lasted and patterns are disrupting responsibilities or stability. We Do Recover’s approach emphasizes connection, compassion, and personalized support, helping individuals and their loved ones make sense of how repeated use fits into real-world stressors and what practical next steps might look like.

Counselling, Coaching, and Intervention Work That Fits Into Life

Services are designed to work around ongoing life roles. Certified addiction counsellors help explore use patterns and goals, recovery coaching supports execution of change plans and accountability, and interventions can be facilitated when resistance to help is blocking progress. Throughout, the focus stays on strengthening stability while people continue with work, family, and community roles.

Bridging Toward Treatment When Needed

When a more formal treatment program, either outpatient or inpatient, is appropriate, We Do Recover helps connect people to trusted partner centres and supports transitions into those settings. This coordination looks at the person’s current life circumstances and recovery goals so the next step aligns with where they are now, not where someone else thinks they should be.

A Practical Support Option for Real-Life Change

We Do Recover is often used by adults and families who recognize that substance use patterns are undermining stability but want structured, non-residential support that fits into their existing commitments, roles, and routines. It’s geared toward people ready to build connection, insight, and forward momentum without stepping away from the life they’re still living.
