Based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, this rehab facility is exclusive to the women and their children of the area. Women and Children’s Healing and Recovery Program offer various rehabilitation services and programs to those women who struggle with drug addiction and mental health issues. The facility caters exclusively to women; therefore, many of the treatments are gendered, designed to help women. The facility offers outpatient services only, but these include counselling sessions for both women and their children if they have any and they are affected by their mothers’ addictions. The center aims to help these women recover.
