How Fast Can a Person Get Addicted to Cocaine?

Cocaine addiction in British Columbia is a touchy subject. First of all, it is important to delineate what addiction is. If a person uses cocaine once a year, he obviously is not addicted to cocaine. Unfortunately, these types of cases are very rare. A common scenario is that someone will start using cocaine occasionally, mostly in social settings such as parties, raves, etc. Then eventually, they will start using cocaine more and more often, until they get to a point where they cannot function without it.

But there some people in British Columbia who do fall prey to cocaine addiction on their first try. Obviously, the body itself is not addicted to cocaine. But a person can very quickly and very easily become psychologically addicted to cocaine. The purity levels of cocaine in British Columbia are pretty high. So when a person takes cocaine for the first, they will get a rush of euphoria and self-confidence, which are part of the cocaine high experience. This often helps a person become more social and feel less shy. For these reasons, different people will react differently and will long for the high at different intensity level. Someone who really loved the high will want it again right away, and so he starts his descent into cocaine addiction.

And then, the worse thing is that as the person goes on using cocaine, it takes more and more cocaine in order to achieve a high that is comparable to those he had early on. The body then becomes accustomed to cocaine and the person will feel cravings for it. The unfortunate thing is that when a person has been using cocaine for a while in British Columbia, he will start feeling quite the opposite, even when high on the drug. He will feel himself becoming withdrawn, sad, etc. But without professional help, at this point, it is hard to stop cocaine. This is because now the withdrawal symptoms come in and the person will need to take cocaine in order to not be in pain.

This is why, no matter how fast a person will or won’t become addicted to cocaine, it is important to get a person off cocaine as soon as they are using it. This can be done with the help of professionals at a drug rehab treatment, which is more prudent.
