Friends and family members don’t like when they are embarrassed due to a person who is related to them and is creating a mess in the crowd due to his problem of alcohol addiction. At this point of time, it’s best for you that you must not lose temper. Instead, you must try to manage the situation and take your friend out the place where he created the mess and drama. Try to make him conscious and make him understand that it’s not acceptable. When he is in the state where he can understand you, try to counsel him. Don’t stop trying and take a step ahead if the problem is too big, and he is into alcohol addiction.

Always be with him and try to stop him whenever he wants to hang out with his alcohol addicted friends. Become his closest friend and make him understand that it’s not beneficial for his future. Follow a religious treatment program for him if your suggestions are becoming a burden for him. Take him to a detox centre and then to an alcohol rehab if he’s found addicted to alcohol. Take help of his family members and friends in order to make him understand the worth of his life. After the detoxification, you support becomes more crucial as your friend might need your company during his rehabilitation phase.

Even he’s ignoring you; try to be with him or around him so that you could keep track of his activities. It’s really important for you to force him and help him to come out of the phase of alcohol addiction as it becomes the time when your friendship is tested. By helping him, you must set an example in the eyes of the people living in the society.
