Drug & Alcohol Treatments For Men Only In Ontario
The province of Ontario has a vast selection of private and government-funded drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs available for men and women. Currently, there are just over 15 drug and alcohol treatment centers that are available for men only and provide various different forms of drug and alcohol treatment for men. These facilities are located all over the province and in different towns and cities and provide a wide variety of different options. There are residential and outpatient programs available that provide both long-term and short term care. Long-term care normally lasts about two to three months and sometimes longer depending on the state of the addict, whereas short-term programs will typically be about two weeks up to about one month long and not normally longer. Short-term treatment is best suited for addicts who have not been using for long periods of time and have not been through other treatment programs. Other services that these treatments centers provide are detox programs and medical detox centers, along with aftercare programs and assessment services for men. An assessment will allow an addict to determine what the best course of treatment that will be needed for the addict and what will allow them to succeed on their path to recovery. These services are provided as private programs and government-funded, which are both at low-cost and no cost.
